ACTION MMA CANCELLATION POLICY

 Gym Membership Cancellation Policy

ACTION MMA INC. values our members and strive to provide the best possible training experience. We understand that circumstances may arise when you need to cancel your membership. To ensure a smooth cancellation process, we have established the following cancellation policy:

 Minimum Commitment Period:

There is NO minimum commitment period at ACTION MMA INC.

Notice Period:

You can cancel your membership with a minimum of 28 days’ notice. This means that you must inform us of your intent to cancel at least 28 days before your membership is cancelled in full.

Billing During the Notice Period:

If you cancel your membership within the 28-day notice period, you will still be billed for the upcoming billing cycle. This charge is non-refundable and covers access to our facilities and services during the notice period.

Cancellation Process:

To initiate the cancellation process, please follow these steps:

1. Send us an email at action.jackson@live.ca and we will respond in 24 hours. Our reply email to you confirming cancellation of your membership will be the date used to countdown your 28 day cancellation notice.
2. In your email notifying us of your cancellation, please include your name, contact information, reason for cancellation, and service feedback.

Effective Cancellation Date:

Your membership will be canceled on the last day of the 28-day notice period, as long as you have submitted the cancellation request within the required timeframe and received confirmation via email that your cancellation request has been received and in being processed. You will not be billed for any future billing cycles after the noted date in your confirmation email cancelling your membership.

 Confirmation of Cancellation:

Once your cancellation request has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email within 5 business days. This email will serve as proof of your membership cancellation.

Membership Hold Option:

If you anticipate needing a temporary break from your membership, we also offer a membership hold option. You can request to hold your membership for a specific duration (minimum hold period may apply) without canceling it entirely. Please inquire at the front desk for more information on this option.

HOLDS POLICY

Gym Membership Holds Policy

At ACTION MMA INC., we understand that life can sometimes get in the way of your training routine. To accommodate your needs, we offer a membership hold option. Please review the following holds policy:

 Notice and Duration:

1. To request a membership hold, you must provide a minimum of 2 weeks (14 days) notice before the desired hold start date.
2. Members can hold their membership for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 90 days during each hold period.

 Maximum Holds:

1. Members are allowed a maximum of 3 membership holds per calendar year.
2. The cumulative total of all hold periods within a single calendar year cannot exceed 180 days. This means that if you’ve already held your membership for a total of 180 days in a calendar year, you will not be eligible for any additional holds until the next calendar year.

Hold Requests:

To request a membership hold, please follow these steps:

1. Contact our gym staff via email at action.jackson@live.ca
2. Provide your full name, contact information, the start date of the hold, the end date of the hold (within the 14 to 90-day range), and a reason for the hold.
3. Our staff will confirm the hold request and provide you with written confirmation via e-mail, including the start and end dates of your hold.

End of Hold Period:

At the end of your approved hold period, your membership will automatically reactivate, and your regular billing cycle will resume. There is no need to contact us to reactivate your membership.

Exceptions:

In case of medical conditions or other exceptional circumstances, we may consider extending or adjusting your hold period. Please contact our gym management for assistance with such requests.

Hold Charges:

During the hold period, you will not be billed for your regular membership dues. However, any additional services or fees, such as personal coaching sessions, will not be included in your hold and must be paid separately if utilized during the hold period.
